About the artwork
Created by North East Victorian artist Anita Laurence, this artwork beautifully weaves the story of our beekeeping heritage and the place we call home. Every detail in this artwork tells a story, from the first hand-built honey extracting shed and beekeepers’ cottage to our flagship Beechworth Honey Store in the heart of town. Anita’s distinctive naive style brings warmth and authenticity, reflecting our deep love of bees, honey, nature and our beautiful hometown of Beechworth.
